Senior Engineer, DevOps Primary Skills • GCP Cloud Build, GCP Deploy, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, GCP Cloud CI/CD Pipeline, GCP Spinnaker Specialization • GCP DevOps Engineering: Engineer Job requirements • Experience Range: With at least 2 years of hands-on experience in GCP DevOps engineering, including CI/CD pipeline management and environment orchestration, and up to 4 years in related roles. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, implement, and maintain parallel dual-track CI/CD pipelines using GCP Cloud Build, GCP Deploy, and Spinnaker to enable scalable and reliable application delivery. 2. Develop and manage environment refresh cadence to ensure consistency and reliability across development, staging, and production environments. 3. Plan, coordinate, and execute cutover and data-load sequencing activities to support seamless deployments and minimize downtime. 4. Establish and monitor rollback triggers to enable rapid recovery during deployment failures. 5. Define and enforce version control system (VCS) governance policies to ensure code integrity and traceability throughout the release lifecycle. 6. Administer Flosum and COPADO for release planning, migration, and deployment governance within GCP environments. 7. Lead migration planning, deployment governance, and cutover planning for complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams. 8. Provide go-live support, troubleshoot deployment issues, and optimize release processes for continuous improvement. Required Skills: 1. GCP Cloud Build for CI/CD automation 2. GCP Deploy for managing deployments 3. Cloud Run for containerized application deployment 4. Kubernetes orchestration and management 5. GCP Spinnaker for automated delivery workflows 6. Flosum and COPADO for release and deployment management 7. Git-based VCS governance 8. Environment refresh and data-load sequencing 9. Implementation of rollback triggers Preferred Skills: 1. Terraform or Deployment Manager for infrastructure as code in GCP 2. Monitoring and alerting solutions such as Stackdriver for CI/CD pipelines 3. Automated testing frameworks like Selenium or JUnit integrated into CI/CD workflows 4. Security and compliance best practices specific to GCP DevOps environments 5. Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud deployment strategies Desired Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline 2. GCP Professional DevOps Engineer certification 3. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent DevOps certification
