Senior Executive - EOHS (Environment, Occupational Health & Safety) Location: Shamshabad, Hyderabad Experience: 5-8 Years Role Summary The Senior Executive - EOHS will be responsible for driving a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace through effective implementation of EHS programs, statutory compliance, risk management, occupational health practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and vendors to ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities Safety & Occupational Health • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations across operations. • Conduct safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs. • Manage Occupational Health Centre activities and employee health initiatives. • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions. • Develop and implement machine safety controls and safe work practices. Statutory Compliance & Environmental Management • Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Pollution Control Board regulations, SEZ requirements, and other statutory obligations. • Manage licenses, permits, regulatory approvals, and statutory returns. • Oversee hazardous waste management, environmental monitoring, and environmental reporting. • Ensure compliance with waste disposal and vendor authorization requirements. Risk Assessment & Emergency Preparedness • Conduct JHA, HIRA, and risk assessments for operational activities. • Manage work permit systems and safety controls for critical operations. • Develop emergency response plans and coordinate mock drills, firefighting, and first-aid training programs. Safety Systems & Continuous Improvement • Maintain fire protection systems, emergency equipment, and safety-critical infrastructure. • Support implementation and maintenance of ISO Management Systems and 5S initiatives. • Conduct internal audits, monitor corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement projects. • Prepare EOHS performance reports, dashboards, and management MIS. Stakeholder Management • Coordinate with employees, contractors, vendors, regulatory authorities, and management teams. • Promote a proactive safety culture and employee engagement across the organization.
