About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build highly scalable cloud-native applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate has strong backend engineering skills, experience designing microservices, and enjoys solving complex engineering problems while mentoring junior developers. Responsibilities • Design and build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. • Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices. • Build and maintain Kafka-based messaging solutions. • Design distributed caching strategies using Redis. • Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes. • Collaborate with product managers and architects to design technical solutions. • Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability. • Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews. • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure automation. Required Skills • 7+ years of software development experience. • Strong Java 11/17 programming skills. • Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. • REST API design. • Kafka or RabbitMQ. • Docker & Kubernetes. • AWS or Azure. • PostgreSQL/MySQL. • Redis. • Git and CI/CD. • Strong knowledge of distributed systems. Preferred Skills • Elasticsearch. • GraphQL. • Terraform. • Prometheus & Grafana. • React/TypeScript. • Event-driven architecture. • System design experience.
