The LD will assist, coordinate, or own tasks assigned by the Learning Designer in alignment with the processes, style guides, and quality best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare lesson templates with the outline headings from the blueprint for SMEs - Review initial draft lessons submitted by SMEs - Format lessons for proper ingestion into LMS - Make suggestions to incorporate learning activities into the lesson - Ensure content is free from negative stereotypes and unconscious bias, respectful, representative, and accessible to learners from the broadest range of demographics and with varying capabilities. - Research and select images - Review video scripts and images if necessary - Review videos and provide feedback - Track IP information for all images and videos used in the course - Review assessments for objective alignment and the strength of questions - Review and accept track changes from the copy editor - Conduct a quality assurance review of the final content on the platform prior to the course launch. - Create a Time on Task document - Assist with completing the product launch document - Maintain organization of course documents **Key Tech Stack & Skills** Key responsibilities include: - Working closely with members of each development team, including SME, CDM, Product Manager, and other stakeholders, to produce a product that meets or exceeds expectations set out in the Product Strategy - Onboarding and enablement of new SMEs - Ensuring deliverables are on time and on budget - Providing frequent updates to stakeholders on an agreed-upon cadence **Educational and Skill Requirements** - At least a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field - Excellent language skills - 4-7 years of instructional design experience - At least 2 - 3 years of experience in developing courses on Rise - Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with SMEs, learners, and stakeholders. - Familiarity or experience with AI tools and agents will be a plus. - Creative and Result-oriented: Ability to develop innovative and engaging training materials and work under pressure. - Attention to detail: Ability to produce high-quality work that is accurate and error-free. - Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and address training design challenges and willingness to learn. - Leadership capabilities: Proactive, high sense of ownership with the ability to collaborate with others to achieve project goals - Key personal traits: trust, integrity, openness.
