Senior Manager (Cutting, Fitting & MEI)

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Lead Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering activities for Cutting & Fitting operations. • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. • Drive OEE improvement through cycle time reduction, downtime analysis, and bottleneck elimination. • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation. • Conduct line balancing, manpower optimization, and capacity planning. • Lead Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities. • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation activities. • Drive layout optimization, workstation ergonomics, and material flow improvements. • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational targets. • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for productivity, efficiency, and cost improvement. • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for process-related issues and implement sustainable solutions. • Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers. • Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and operational excellence standards. Preferred candidate profile • Strong understanding of Cutting & Fitting manufacturing processes. • Expertise in Industrial Engineering concepts such as line balancing, takt time, cycle time analysis, SMED, and work measurement. • Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and Six Sigma. • Knowledge of PFMEA, Process Validation, Control Plans, and Process Capability. • Experience in automation projects and productivity improvement. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP, and manufacturing analytics tools.
