Senior Manager (Cutting, Fitting & MEI)

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Lead Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering activities for Cutting & Fitting operations. - Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. - Drive OEE improvement through cycle time reduction, downtime analysis, and bottleneck elimination. - Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation. - Conduct line balancing, manpower optimization, and capacity planning. - Lead Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities. - Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation activities. - Drive layout optimization, workstation ergonomics, and material flow improvements. - Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational targets. - Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for productivity, efficiency, and cost improvement. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for process-related issues and implement sustainable solutions. - Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers. - Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and operational excellence standards. **Preferred candidate profile** - Strong understanding of Cutting & Fitting manufacturing processes. - Expertise in Industrial Engineering concepts such as line balancing, takt time, cycle time analysis, SMED, and work measurement. - Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and Six Sigma. - Knowledge of PFMEA, Process Validation, Control Plans, and Process Capability. - Experience in automation projects and productivity improvement. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP, and manufacturing analytics tools.
