Senior Manager (Cutting, Fitting & QC)

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Lead end-to-end quality control activities for Cutting & Fitting operations. - Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and inspection procedures. - Monitor in-process and final inspection to minimize customer complaints and internal rejection. - Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA). - Improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and reduce rejection, rework, and scrap. - Analyze quality trends using quality tools and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. - Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 7 QC Tools. - Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA), process audits, and product audits. - Develop quality control plans and inspection standards for new products and processes. - Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues. - Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely closure. - Mentor and develop quality engineers, executives, and inspectors. - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management systems. - Drive 5S, visual management, and quality culture across the shop floor. **Preferred candidate profile** - Strong knowledge of Cutting & Fitting manufacturing processes. - Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and defect elimination. - Hands-on experience with 7 QC Tools, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and MSA. - Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Six Sigma. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Team management and leadership capabilities. - Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
