Senior Manager (Cutting, Fitting & QC)

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Lead end-to-end quality control activities for Cutting & Fitting operations. • Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and inspection procedures. • Monitor in-process and final inspection to minimize customer complaints and internal rejection. • Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA). • Improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and reduce rejection, rework, and scrap. • Analyze quality trends using quality tools and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. • Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 7 QC Tools. • Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA), process audits, and product audits. • Develop quality control plans and inspection standards for new products and processes. • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues. • Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely closure. • Mentor and develop quality engineers, executives, and inspectors. • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management systems. • Drive 5S, visual management, and quality culture across the shop floor. Preferred candidate profile • Strong knowledge of Cutting & Fitting manufacturing processes. • Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and defect elimination. • Hands-on experience with 7 QC Tools, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and MSA. • Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Six Sigma. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Team management and leadership capabilities. • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
