Role profile: The Senior Manager, End User Compute (EUC) Asset Management role defines and leads LSEG's global end-user hardware lifecycle strategy along with related operations and services. The role is accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of our End User Computing (EUC) estate, comprising of laptops, MacBooks, monitors, peripherals and mobile devices, including governance, financial management and operational and service performance. The role leads globally distributed teams responsible for Request Fulfilment and Asset Management and serves as the process owner for our key EUC services. The successful candidate will use data-driven decision-making to drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, audit readiness and sustainability initiatives across our estate of more than 30,000 laptops, making it one of the organisation's largest technology asset portfolios! Working closely with Technology, Finance, Procurement, Compliance and Facilities teams, along with strategic suppliers, the role will help us ensure we deliver an excellent hardware experience for employees globally. ROLE SUMMARY: • Global ownership of end-user hardware lifecycle strategy, financial planning and operational efficiency. • Leadership of internal teams and strategic service providers. • The role requires dedication and persistence along with deep attention to detail WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Leadership & Team Management • Lead and develop global Request Fulfilment and Asset Management teams. • Drive the strategy and direction of our end-user hardware lifecycle services. • Establish team objectives, performance measures and operational governance. • Build positive relationships and collaborate with teams across LSEG. End User Hardware Lifecycle Management Own and run the complete lifecycle of our assets. Responsibilities include: • Procurement management • Inventory maintenance and stock optimisation. • Hardware refresh strategy and execution. • Retirement, recovery and secure disposal processes. • Global device catalogue ownership and governance. Hardware Asset Management (HAM) • Define the HAM framework and establish HAM policies, standards and controls. • Own HAM data structures and governance requirements. • Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of asset data. • Drive reporting and insight generation from asset management systems. Financial Planning & Budget Management • Operate financial planning and activity for end-user hardware and associated programmes, including expenditure across multiple budget models (Capex, lease and Opex) • Forecast demand based on joiners, leavers, refresh schedules, inventory levels and business initiatives. • Track budget performance and forecast variances throughout the year. Process Ownership & Governance Own and maintain EUC policies and operational processes including: • Asset verification and audit controls. • Ensuring global device availability, along with stock management, audits and reconciliation. • Hardware refresh process and project governance. • Dual-device policy and exception management. • Break/fix and replacement services. • Leaver asset management and recovery • E-waste management processes. Service Ownership and Operational Performance • Define the service strategy, roadmap, and operating model. • Establish and maintain service descriptions, service boundaries, ownership models and operational responsibilities. • Define and coordinate service levels, operational level agreements, key performance indicators and service health measures. Reporting & Analytics Provide comprehensive reporting to partners, including: • HAM compliance reporting. • Power BI dashboards and management reporting. • Device age and refresh analytics. • Global stockroom performance and inventory reporting. • Budget utilisation and forecasting. • Operational metrics relating to new hires and leavers. • Sustainability and environmental reporting. • Internal and external audits Sustainability & Environmental Governance • Lead sustainability initiatives relating to end-user technology assets. • Develop processes that improve environmental performance and reduce waste. • Lead global e-waste activities. Joiner & Leaver Services • Govern joiner and leaver processes across all regions. • Lead asset recovery programmes and reconciliation activities. • Improve operational efficiency and compliance through automation and process optimisation. Vendor & Supplier Management Maintain strategic relationships with key technology and service providers (such as Dell, TCS, Computacenter). Responsibilities include: • Service performance management. • Contract engagement and governance. • Device catalogue definition and approval.
