Labcorp is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Investigator and Patient Services to join our team at Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru, Karnataka. **Work Schedule** 40hrs a week (Monday to Friday) in a rotational shift **Job Responsibilities** Drives execution of the day to day operating plans for Kit inventory center, Investigator Training Center and Logistics India. The plan is the function’s response to the Corporate and Business Units operating objectives and strategies. Participates in the global management team tasks related to strategy, planning, and execution. Responsible to oversee regulatory administrative responsibilities associated with this process and interpreting regulations when necessary. ***Managerial and Leadership duties and responsibilities:*** - Supervises the day to day production and non-production activities of the local departmental employees; - Assigns appropriately trained personnel and ensures sufficient number of staff are available to complete the workload. - Has the ability to lead project initiatives, and manage multiple projects as well as multiple teams of people. Has the ability and operations knowledge to successfully meet with senior operational leaders and stakeholders to close out questions or processes that require their approval. - Communicate corporate vision and plans to create common vision. Share pertinent information from management committee meetings with teams. - Individual is responsible for maintaining his/her complete up-to-date training file. Individual is responsible for ensuring he/she is trained and training is documented prior to performing a task. Individual is accountable for any deficiencies found in his/her training file - Participates in Customer Audits when required. - Provide a monthly report to the Manager - Other duties as assigned ***Supervision*** - chedules department personnel appropriately to match the demands of the daily workflow within the supervised area. - Provides direct supervision to employees, including assignments, technical and behavioral performance counseling. - Identifies process improvement opportunities that will help to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency and provides leadership in implementing change. - Follow budget and supervise area to budgetary guidelines. - Prepares a monthly report of activities for the lab management. - Outline scope of projects and resources involving dept. staff or CTTS in general. Monitor progress of projects and coach resources in CTTS. - Ensure the direction and monitoring of dept. tools and coordinate interactions with other stakeholders and vendors - Ensure that staff maintains global integrity of the dept. tools. ***Performance Monitoring and Evaluation*** - Reports performance and results against targets and global standards; - Ensures regulatory compliance within his/her supervision; - Participates in and supports client visits, audits and inquiries, as necessary, to ensure complete fulfillment of requests and interests. - Delegate the research on customer or internal inquiries as appropriate. Interface with customers and guide others in handling customer interactions effectively. ***Process Excellence and Continuous Improvements*** - Identifies process improvement opportunities that will help to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency and provides leadership in implementing change - Lead and drive business transformation projects across CTTS business units and foster a culture of learning, understanding and growing the business among team members - Conduct in depth analysis of data, processes and projects using Lean deployment strategies. Generate key insights for operational benefits using tools such as research, discussions with PEx experts, focus groups etc. - Ensure to implement a disciplined, data-driven, well-documented approach to problem solving and continuous improvement led by voice of the customer - Quantify and publish the impact of business transformation projects on financials, productivity, customer experience and compliance - Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes **Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in life science **Preferred Qualifications** - 8–12 years of experience in operations, customer service, or a clinical/laboratory environment - 5–6 years of people management experience. ***Team Supervision*** The post holder will have direct responsibility for the following in relation to their direct reports: Performance management of all reportees incorporating: - Conducting PMD / objective-setting and review meetings in a timely manner in accordance with company deadlines. - Use of third party feedback to monitor performance and set actions as appropriate. - Conducting probationary review meet
