Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Own program roadmap, planning, and execution for data engineering and analytics initiatives, including batch/real-time pipelines, data lakes, warehouses, BI, and ML solutions. - Act as a trusted advisor to clients, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to define problem statements, solution approaches, and execution strategies. - Drive large-scale data platform implementations leveraging cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stacks (Databricks, Spark, etc.). - Manage a portfolio of projects/programs, ensuring delivery excellence across timelines, quality, risk, and cost. - Lead and mentor TPMs, project managers, and cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance, ownership-driven culture. - Establish governance frameworks, including program reviews, KPI tracking, executive dashboards, and stakeholder communication. - Drive Agile transformation and delivery maturity, implementing best practices to enhance speed, predictability, and efficiency. - Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations, particularly in complex, multi-team and client-facing environments. - Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and solution architects to ensure scalable and reusable data solutions. - Own client communication and executive reporting, translating data insights into actionable recommendations and business impact. - Drive adoption and ROI for delivered solutions, ensuring measurable value for clients. - Support pre-sales and solutioning efforts, including effort estimation, proposal development, and client presentations. **Preferred candidate profile** - 1216 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or platform delivery, with 6+ years in program management/TPM roles. - Proven experience delivering large-scale data & analytics programs in a consulting or client-facing environment. - Strong background in data engineering (ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses, distributed processing). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern data technologies (Databricks, Spark, Airflow, etc.). - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements and distributed teams. - Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and scaled delivery models. - Ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions, especially in domains like retail, CPG, BFSI, or healthcare (preferred). - Experience with stakeholder management at executive levels, including client leadership. - Strong financial acumen with experience in program budgeting, cost optimization, and ROI tracking. - Prior experience in pre-sales, solutioning, or consulting engagements is highly preferred. - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments.
