Senior Quality Engineer- Cloud Applications and Test Automation

We are looking for a passionate **Senior Quality Engineer** to join our Revenue Optimization team and help drive quality across modern cloud-native platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, building automation solutions, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products at scale. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. - Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing. - Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. - Drive test coverage improvements and identify automation opportunities. - Test cloud-native applications, microservices, and containerized solutions. - Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and partner with teams to resolve issues. - Support release validation, regression testing, and quality initiatives across multiple teams. - Mentor junior Quality Engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements. **Required Skills & Experience** - 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Testing. - Strong experience in manual and automated testing of web, API, and backend applications. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as **Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber**, or similar. - Experience testing **microservices-based architectures** and distributed systems. - Strong understanding of **API testing** using REST/JSON, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. - Experience with cloud platforms (**GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable**). - Familiarity with **Docker, Kubernetes**, and CI/CD environments. - Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and testing. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC. **Qualifications** - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field (required). - Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred). **Why Join Sabre?** - Work on cutting-edge cloud technologies and large-scale travel platforms. - Collaborate with talented global teams. - Contribute to innovative products used across the travel ecosystem. - Grow your career in a culture that values learning, quality, and continuous improvement. **Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and be part of transforming the future of travel technology.**
