About the Role", Job Title: Frontend Developer Responsibilities • Develop, test, and deploy highly responsive and scalable user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks, primarily Next.js and React. • Collaborate closely with product managers, and backend developers to translate design mockups and user stories into functional and engaging web applications. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability across various devices and browsers. • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality. • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing applications, including those built with PHP (Zend Framework/Laminas) and legacy JavaScript frameworks like Backbone.js. • Debug and troubleshoot complex frontend issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate. • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). • Proactively identify areas for improvement in our development processes and tools. Required Skills • 12+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3. • Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js and Next.js. • Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, React Context API), and front-end routing. • Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite. • Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git. • Demonstrable experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. • Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests for frontend components. • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Desirable Skills • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.
