Job description

We are looking for a **Data Engineer** who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **ETL development** , **Snowflake** , and modern **cloud-based data platforms** , along with understanding in **Power BI** for analytics and reporting. This role demands a solid understanding of **data engineering principles** , **ETL concepts** , and **financial domain knowledge** . As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling actionable insights for business stakeholders. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are essential. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain **data pipelines** and **ETL workflows** for ingestion, transformation, and integration. - Build and optimize solutions on **Snowflake** and other **cloud data platforms** . - Leverage ETL tools such as **Informatica** , **Pentaho** , or **Azure Data Factory (ADF)** to deliver scalable data solutions. - Implement best practices for **data modeling** , **performance tuning** , and **data governance** . - Develop and manage **Power BI dashboards** and reports to support business intelligence initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals. - Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for financial data. Drive projects independently, managing timelines and quality expectations. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Proven experience as a **Data Engineer** with strong knowledge of **ETL concepts** , **data warehousing** , and **data architecture** . - Experience with **Python** and **SQL** for automation and advanced data processing. - Knowledge of **CI/CD pipelines** , **DevOps** , and **data orchestration frameworks** . - Hands-on experience with **Snowflake** and at least one ETL tool ( **Informatica** , **Pentaho** , or **ADF** ). - Familiarity with **cloud database technologies** and modern data engineering practices. - Understanding of **Power BI** and BI platform infrastructure. - Strong understanding of **financial domain concepts** . - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
