Job Requisition ID # 26WD100791 Position Overview Autodesk Enterprise Customer Success organization is seeking a talented Senior Technical Consultant to design and implement customized solutions for our Enterprise customers across the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) and Design & Manufacturing (D&M) industries. In this role, you will work directly with customers to understand their business and technical requirements and collaborate with Autodesk’s global consulting teams to develop tailored solutions, including product customizations, full-stack applications, enterprise application integrations, and cloud-based solutions using Autodesk Cloud and on-premises products. This is an individual contributor role with a substantial level of technical ownership, customer engagement, influence, and responsibility, requiring the ability to translate complex customer needs into scalable and effective technical solutions. Responsibilities • Collaborate with customers to assess the scope of their Autodesk product customization and configuration requirements. • Analyze customer business requirements and design, develop, customize, configure, and integrate scalable full-stack solutions across Autodesk products in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) and Design & Manufacturing (D&M) portfolios, leveraging Autodesk APIs, SDKs, extensibility frameworks, and cloud platforms. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Autodesk product APIs, Autodesk Platform Services (APS), SDKs, extensibility frameworks, and related technologies. • Apply AEC and/or D&M domain knowledge to understand customer workflows, identify opportunities for automation and optimization, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions. • Design and develop AI/MCP-enabled plugins and solutions, leveraging modern AI technologies and related frameworks to connect AI capabilities with enterprise applications, data, and Autodesk workflows. • Develop written specifications to capture business requirements for proposed solutions and configurations. • Work independently and with internal team members to estimate effort levels. • Design system architectures, document implementation plans, and create detailed system designs. • Drive technical design reviews, establish engineering best practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to reusable frameworks and accelerators across consulting engagements. • Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate solution development, improve code quality, and enhance customer delivery. • Demonstrate strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Build trust with clients at all levels and establish strong problem-solving relationships with both clients and colleagues. Minimum Qualifications • A 4-year bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution. • 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in full-stack web and desktop application development using C#/.NET technologies. • Strong understanding of the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) and/or Design & Manufacturing (D&M) domain, including relevant industry workflows and processes. • Hands-on experience customizing, configuring, and integrating Autodesk products or equivalent industry products across the AEC and D&M portfolios using APIs, SDKs, and extensibility frameworks. • Experience with Autodesk Platform Services (APS) and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. • Strong experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks such as ReactJS. • Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs/Web APIs using ASP.NET/.NET Core, including integrating Autodesk APIs, SDKs, and cloud services with enterprise applications. • Experience in database schema design, SQL queries, Entity Framework, and working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server and graph databases. • Experience using Git, Jira, and modern source control and collaborative development practices. • Hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLM-based application development and Model Context Protocol (MCP), including integrating AI capabilities with applications, APIs, enterprise data, or tools. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code is desirable. • Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including cloud services, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies such as Docker. • Experience in product development is a plus.
