Job Responsibilities • Good exposure in manufacturing technologies like Plastics, Sheet metal, Casting, Injection molding, forging and fabrication • Knowledge of Mirror/ Optics design & costing • Knowledge/ relevant work experience in PCB / PCBA / Harness / Sensors Costing • Knowledge of Heat & Surface Treatments process/ costing • Should able to identify alternate manufacturing technologies and alternate materials. • Should be good at Optimizing the best manufacturing process techniques. • -Strong background in VAVE & bench marking. • Knowledge on conventional and CNC machines, manufacturing processes & time calculations. • Experience in product estimation and costing tools like DFMA, Costimator, SEER Galorath & aPriori will be added advantage. • Carryout should costing and Design to Cost analysis for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Legacy • Recommend improvements to cost competitiveness.
