Job description

Wakefit is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and execution of Greenfield manufacturing and warehouse projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical infrastructure planning, HT/LT systems, transformers, electrical panels, and project execution. **Key Responsibilities:** ● Plan, design, and execute electrical systems for Greenfield projects up to 1,00,000 sq. ft. ● Prepare and review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), panel layouts, and cable routing. ● Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical distribution networks. ● Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project execution. ● Conduct electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection. ● Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and quality requirements. ● Monitor project schedules, budgets, and contractor performance. ● Troubleshoot electrical issues during project execution and recommend effective solutions. ● Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation. ● Support handover activities and ensure smooth commissioning of facilities. **Required Qualifications** ● Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. ● 6–8 years of experience in Greenfield industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial infrastructure projects. ● Strong knowledge of electrical panels, transformers, HT/LT systems, power distribution, and commissioning. ● Proficiency in AutoCAD. ● Familiarity with Indian electrical standards, statutory approvals, and safety regulations. ● Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. **Preferred Skills** ● Experience in manufacturing or warehouse infrastructure projects. ● Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical systems and utility planning. ● Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
