Principal Engineer / SME - Process Engineering We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer with 18+ years of progressive experience in Refinery Operations, Process Engineering, Technical Services, and Plant Performance Optimization. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on exposure to refinery units and operational excellence initiatives, with a strong understanding of process troubleshooting, yield improvement, energy optimization, and operational support. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for refinery process operations. • Support process optimization, debottlenecking, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives across refinery units. • Drive operational excellence through performance monitoring, yield enhancement, energy efficiency, and reliability improvement programs. • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and HSE teams to ensure safe and efficient plant performance. • Lead root cause analysis for process-related issues and recommend sustainable solutions. • Mentor and guide process engineers and technical teams. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. • 18+ years of experience in Refinery/Petrochemical Operations, Technical Services, or Process Engineering. • Strong exposure to refinery process units and plant operations. • Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and operational support. • Prior experience in a lead, principal engineer, or SME capacity is preferred. • Candidates with predominantly engineering design/consultancy backgrounds will not be considered.
