Role & responsibilities Job Title: Java Developer Experience: 4-8 Years Location: Pune (Hybrid) Company: Coforge Job Description Coforge is looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java technologies, Microservices, and Spring ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications. • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices. • Work with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. • Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and architects. • Optimize application performance and scalability. • Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Required Skills • Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17). • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security. • Experience in Microservices Architecture. • Knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations. • Experience with Hibernate/JPA. • Strong SQL skills with databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL. • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins. • Good understanding of Design Patterns and OOP principles. • Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is an added advantage. Preferred Skills • Docker & Kubernetes. • Kafka/RabbitMQ messaging. • CI/CD pipeline implementation. • Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domain experience
