This is a core developer and a product-facing builder in one — effectively a product engineer. At the core you're a strong developer, but you lead with product thinking: you understand the customer and the problem before you write a line of code. You'll own solutions on aiRA, Capillary's agentic AI platform, end to end — sitting with customers, designing the solution, and building production-ready agents yourself. We're looking for people who have already been building for the agentic world. What you'll do • Build production-ready agents and applications on aiRA — hands-on, end to end. • Lead with product thinking: understand the customer and the problem, then design the right solution. • Work directly with customers to translate real workflows and automations into shipped agents. • Own delivery end to end — design, build, ship, and iterate based on what customers actually do. • Integrate against enterprise systems and the Capillary platform. Required qualifications • 1+ years of professional software engineering experience, hands-on — you write and ship code. • Strong developer core: Python OR the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node). • Product thinking first — you understand and prioritise the customer problem, not just the implementation. • Experience building for the agentic world — LLMs, agents, RAG, tool / function-calling, and AI frameworks. • Comfortable with APIs, system integrations and data modeling. Nice to have • Customer-facing or solutioning experience — you can scope a problem with a client and turn it into a build. • Domain depth in one of our verticals (airline, hospitality, retail, fuel, FMCG). • Has shipped an agentic product or application end to end. • Has already worked in a similar forward-deployed / product-engineer role before. Soft skills • Product-first curiosity — you want to understand the customer and the problem, not just the tech. • Strong ownership — you create the work and drive it end to end; you don't wait to be assigned it. • Self-directed builder — comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing several hats. A cog-in-the-wheel mindset won't thrive here.
