About the Role Were looking for a ***Software Development Engineer - II*** to build the most amazing product experience at Innovaccer. Youll work closely with other engineers to build delightful feature experiences that understand and solve our customers pain points across backend systems, identity, and the abstractions that hold them together. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who combines strong backend fundamentals with a bias for ownership taking a feature from prototype to production, and caring as much about how its built as what it does. A Day in the Life - Build efficient, reusable applications and abstractions across backend and identity systems. - Own the full project lifecycle from prototyping through design, build, integration, QA, and delivery. - Automate repetitive workflows to boost team efficiency. Reliability & Best Practices - Improve the performance, reliability, observability, scalability, stability, and security of the product. - Identify and drive adoption of back-end best practices. - Raise engineering standards through code reviews, tooling, and process improvements. Collaboration & Ownership - Navigate ambiguous requirements by leading discussions with stakeholders and team members. What You Need **Must-Haves** - 5+ years of experience with a start-up mentality and a high willingness to learn. - Expert in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in a relevant web framework. - Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills. - Expert in Kubernetes and containerization. - Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as Postgres and MongoDB. - Experience in Solution Architecture. - Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS or Azure. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering. - Go-get-done, bias-for-action, self-starter, and team-player attitude. **Good to Have** - Experience with any OLAP database. - Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other queuing services. - Working experience with Distributed Systems / multi-tenant systems and Async Programming.
