As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and operation of cloud-native data platforms and streaming solutions. You will collaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure data products that support Vestas' digital transformation journey. Responsibilities Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment processes Deploy, operate, and resolve issues in workloads running on Kubernetes-based platforms Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics Perform root cause analysis, incident management, and production support activities Collaborate with platform teams on architecture, scalability, security, and operational excellence Contribute to automation and infrastructure improvements that enhance platform reliability and developer productivity Support platform users and stakeholders with data ingestion, processing, and analytics workloads Qualifications Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Similar specialization 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Operations Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD implementations Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes Familiarity with infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, and observability tools Experience working with modern data platforms and data warehousing technologies, Snowflake Experience with streaming technologies and event-driven architectures, Confluent Kafka Experience working with Microsoft Azure Services and Azure DevOps Skilled in problem-solving, issue diagnosis, and day-to-day operational support Effective collaboration and communication skills in a global environment Competencies Collaborative and receptive to new ideas, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines Curious and committed to building scalable and innovative data solutions Solid structured and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated and accountable, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement Comfortable working in a changing and evolving technology landscape Solid communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities Motivated to learn new technologies and contribute to team goals What We Offer You will join a focused and engaged team focused on enabling data-driven decision-making through scalable data platforms and modern engineering practices You will work in an environment that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning while providing opportunities to develop skills across software engineering, data engineering, platform engineering, and cloud technologies.
