Software Engineer Full stackHyderabad, India Role Overview:Build and scale cloud-native experiences that power workforce planning for thousands of global organizations. This role directly improves forecasting accuracy, system reliability, and user productivity across the Genesys Cloud platform, impacting how businesses plan and manage customer engagement at scale. You will own end-to-end development across microservices and micro-frontends, shaping architecture, performance, and developer experience. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and platform teams while gaining exposure to large-scale distributed systems and modern cloud architecture. Key Responsibilities: • Design and deliver scalable frontend and backend solutions that improve performance, reliability, and user experience across the WFM forecasting platform • Own end-to-end development of microservices and micro-frontends, ensuring high availability and seamless integration within AWS cloud environments • Drive improvements in system architecture, code quality, and engineering processes to enhance scalability and long-term maintainability • Build and execute comprehensive testing strategies that increase confidence and reduce production defects • Optimize APIs and service interactions to improve system efficiency, response times, and data accuracy • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with product goals and customer outcomes • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure stability, resilience, and continuous service improvement Required Qualifications: • 3 or more years of experience in full stack software development • Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms • Experience with Java, Node.js, or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and RESTful API design • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including development, deployment, and support • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts Preferred Qualifications: • Experience building and deploying serverless applications in cloud environments • Exposure to micro-frontend architecture and modern UI composition strategies • Understanding of CI CD pipelines and automated deployment practices • Experience working in Agile development environments with cross-functional teams #LI-Hybrid #LI-GR1 Working at Genesys • AI at enterprise scale – Build, support and operate AI-powered technology used by more than 8,000 organizations worldwide. 150+ new AI features were released in the last fiscal year. • A flexible-first culture – Join a global team of nearly 7,000 employees with flexible ways of working designed to help people do their best work. • Growth in the AI era – Build future-ready skills through mentorship, learning programs, leadership development and education support. • Time to recharge and give back – Benefits include paid volunteer time, August Free Fridays, well-being resources and regionally tailored programs for employees and their families. • Recognized globally – Genesys is Great Place to Work® certified in 17 countries and 94% of employees are proud to tell others they work at Genesys.
