AS A SOFTWARE PRODUCT OWNER, YOU WILL: • Be an advocate for the customer to improve the user experience design • Work directly with our software engineering development and test teams to refine and implement functional requirements • Support global product launches and release activities • Communicate product management activities to all levels of the organization as the product owner • Reference product roadmap to prioritize, socialize and implement software enhancement with software development and test teams • Customer-focused mindset for delivering a product that provides a great customer experience • Constantly look for ways to increase the team's velocity/productivity by eliminating waste and identifying creative ways to accelerate delivery timelines • Help build and maintain high team morale • Partner with the Product Manager to ensure alignment with requirements and priorities • Facilitation skills – ability to lead small to medium groups of internal stakeholders towards desired outcomes to meet business objectives WHO YOU ARE: You identify and seize new opportunities. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or Software Development or a Marketing degree with product management emphasis or equivalent work experience. • 3 to 7 years’ experience in a software product owner role or equivalent • Ability to travel up to 10% • Strong communication and presentation skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: • Experience with Agile development methodologies Familiarity with Requirements Management Software (e.g. Jama) and development task management
