&#xa0; • Analyses testing requirements and creates relevant and applicable test strategies,&#xa0;plans&#xa0;and scripts.&#xa0; • Carries out testing for new and improved functionality for internal and external facing Company software and applications.&#xa0;&#xa0; Responsibilities&#xa0; • Analyses requirements for testing and creates test strategies for new projects as well as existing projects where changes are&#xa0;required.&#xa0;&#xa0; • Creates and documents test plans,&#xa0;scenarios&#xa0;and scripts for validation by Developers and Analysts.&#xa0;&#xa0; • Creates automation scripts for use in Regression testing.&#xa0; • Executes testing scripts in all IT environments,&#xa0;tracking&#xa0;and reporting progress in line with the Defect Management Cycle&#xa0; • Identifies&#xa0;new and existing defects / bugs and measures these in line with agreed metrics.&#xa0;&#xa0; • Reports on and passes back findings and results to relevant Analysts and Developers for remedial work&#xa0; • Support peers and team members and&#xa0;is an active participant&#xa0;in Scrum team activities.&#xa0; Role Requirements&#xa0;R=required, G=good to have&#xa0; • R&#xa0;– 2-4 Years of&#xa0;Proven experience&#xa0;in&#xa0;Testing.&#xa0; • R - Proven knowledge of&#xa0;different phases&#xa0;of testing in all IT environments&#xa0; • R - Have experience of Agile project delivery&#xa0;methodology&#xa0; • R - Have an&#xa0;up to date&#xa0;knowledge of test tools such as JIRA for defect classification,&#xa0;management&#xa0;and reporting&#xa0; • R - Be prepared to be flexible and take ownership of defects&#xa0;through&#xa0;resolution.&#xa0; • R - Have excellent verbal and written communication skills&#xa0; • R - Show initiative and take a pro-active approach to&#xa0;identify&#xa0;risks and issues&#xa0; • G - ISEB/ISTQB qualification or equivalent&#xa0; • G - Experience in Test Automation tools (like Selenium)&#xa0;&#xa0; • G - Experience of other roles in the Software Delivery Life Cycle&#xa0; • G - Willingness to travel internationally if&#xa0;required&#xa0; • G - Proven ability to test API functions&#xa0; You may be asked to undertake&#xa0;additional&#xa0;duties to those above, either on a temporary or permanent basis, which the Company&#xa0;reasonably believes&#xa0;you&#xa0;are capable of carrying&#xa0;out, or for which you will be trained.&#xa0;&#xa0; Our Benefits • Flexible working environment • Volunteer time off • LinkedIn Learning • Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
