Role Overview: We are seeking a Specialist Platform Engineer – BPM Platforms (Celonis) to join our HAI Platform Operations group within the Digital Platform Services group under the Global Technology Organization.  As the Specialist, Celonis Platform Operations (R2), you will deliver dedicated, hands-on operational support for our enterprise Celonis platform, ensuring high performance, stability, and data reliability across the organization. You will take the lead on critical configuration and deployment activities within both the Execution Management System (EMS) and Celonis Process Modeling (CPM) environments, ensuring seamless updates and data model deployments. Operating with significant day-to-day autonomy under broad supervision, you will also expand your technical scope by providing valuable back-up support for our enterprise Appian platform. You will collaborate closely with Celonis engineering and business teams, as well as Appian application teams, to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize workflows, and maintain robust, high-performing platform capabilities that drive digital efficiency. What will you do in this role  • Provide hands on operational support for Celonis platform. • Provide Configuration and deployment support in EMS and CPM environments. • Provide back up support for Appian platform. • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Celonis teams. • Provide operational support for Hyper-automation platform Celonis operations.  You will be responsible for managing and optimizing operations across Celonis EMS and CPM tools. • Provide Incident & Problem Management support, monitoring and addressing user issues, while orchestrating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement permanent platform and process fixes that prevent issue recurrence • Act as a primary contact to keep product business leads, upstream data providers, and downstream data consumers aligned on platform changes. • Collaborating closely with technology partners (e.g., Celonis, AWS) to manage licensing, roadmaps, and support escalation paths. • Drive global operational excellence collaborating with cross-functional technical teams including; Product, Platform Engineering, Application Operations and Infrastructure groups. What Should you have: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. • At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Celonins EMS. • Familiarity with Celonis Process Modeling administration • Practical experience with public cloud platforms, Preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Networking, Compute, storage and Security. • Familiarity with Appian cloud platform. Primary Skills: Celonis, AWS, Incident management, Troubleshooting and Celonis Process Modeling (CPM) Secondary Skills: Execution Management System (EMS) and Appian Preferred • Celonis certification(s) (e.g., Celonis Data Analysis & Data Engineering Certified). • Deep experience with Celonis Cloud platform (EMS/CPM). • Familiarity with broader monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring/logging solutions. • Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services) is a plus.
