Power BI and SQL **Location:** CUSTOMER-Bengaluru-Bengaluru **Years of Experience:** 5-8 Years **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Software engineer with a strong background in Power BI and SQL to lead and manage projects effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring high-quality standards. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. **Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Utilize Power BI to create insightful dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decision-making. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope. - Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary. - Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status. - Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members. **Mandatory Skills:** - Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, visualization, and report creation. - Proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. - Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with other data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.) is a plus. - Familiarity with project management software (JIRA, Trello, MS Project, etc.). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their data services. - Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5-8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data analytics and reporting. - Proven experience in leading projects that involve Power BI and SQL.
