Sr. Software Engineer - Java

Job description

We are looking forward to hire Java Professionals in the following areas : Duties: • Works closely with product scrum teams and digital product owners on the analysis of business needs, design, develop, deliver, deploy and support product • Work on understanding requirements, apply system development methodology to identify, analyze, design, build, configure, test, and deploy solutions of high complexity • Strong understanding of software development to draw out specifications for integrated solutions • Drives collaboration across teams and business stakeholders across products • Follows Agile software methodology for software development • Maintains system documentation and keeps it relevant as needed • Provides production support for the products including all integrations and customizations • Ability to learn, adapt latest and legacy tech stack as per enterprise guidelines and product needs. Required skills/experience: • 3+ years of experience with product development utilizing technologies such as Typescript, Node, Java, Oauth2, REST & AWS • Good understanding of API development and microservices • Good understanding of AWS. Exposure to using AWS Services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc. • Hands on Experience with unit, integration, performance testing • Experience with CI/CD and monitoring technologies like GitHub Actions, Jenkins • 2+ years of work experience in an Agile team environment • Skilled in interpersonal communication Desired skills/experience: • Understanding of JDF portfolio management and accounting • Experience creating functional and technical specification documents. • Effective conversations with integrated teams and John Deere Business stakeholders. Education: Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
