Sr Specialist Telecom Vendor Governance and AI Automation / Telco products (Mobility, Wireline, Voice/UC, SD-WAN, Cloud connectivity, Data Center/Colocation)

Job description

Key Responsibilities • Own end-to-end commercial strategy across telco products and solutions (Mobility, Wireline, Voice/UC, SD-WAN, Cloud connectivity, Data Center/Colocation, etc.). • Translate product constructs into commercial models (pricing, cost structures, margin tracking). • Drive cost-to-revenue linkage across deals, billing, and vendor spend. • Partner with OEMs/vendors to optimize pricing, contracts, and commercial frameworks. • Support deal structuring, RFQs, and large contract negotiations. • Enable AI-driven commercial insights (e.g., margin leakage detection, pricing optimization, cost benchmarking). • Collaborate with Revenue Assurance, P2P, and Vendor teams to ensure commercial alignment across the lifecycle. Core Requirements • 12+ years’ experience in telecom (OEM background strongly preferred). • B.Tech/BE/MCA/MBA • Strong understanding of telco products, Cloud/Data Center services, and solution constructs. • Fair understanding of Cloud, Data Center/Colocation, and Voice/UC solutions (offer design, pricing, costing, and commercials). • Expertise in commercial models (pricing, margin, contracts, and billing impacts). • Experience with large-scale deal support, pricing strategy, and commercial governance. • Ability to bridge technology, finance, and the vendor ecosystem. • Awareness of AI applications in commercial optimization (pricing analytics, margin intelligence, predictive cost modeling). Impact Metrics • Margin improvement / EBITDA contribution. • Pricing efficiency and deal profitability. • Cost-to-revenue alignment accuracy. • Reduction in commercial leakage. • Adoption of AI-driven insights in pricing and commercial decision-making.
