Job Description Requirements • Experience : 5.5+years • Strong experience in cloud or platform engineering, with strong experience supporting containerized applications. • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes in production environments. • Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, infrastructure provisioning, automation, and reusable modules. • Working experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices. • Good understanding of Microservices Architecture (MSA), containerized workloads, and distributed systems. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Flux. • Strong experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment workflows. • Understanding of container networking, service discovery, and service mesh technologies such as App Mesh, Istio, or Linkerd. • Knowledge of observability principles including monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and distributed-system performance. • Experience with container security, image scanning, secrets management, and runtime access controls. • Familiarity with tools such as Trivy, OPA, or Aqua is an added advantage. • Experience working in Agile and DevOps-oriented environments. • Exposure to serverless integrations, event-driven architectures, and multi-region or multi-cloud container platforms is desirable. • Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS DevOps Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer are preferred. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills. Responsibilities • Design, build, configure, and maintain container orchestration environments using Amazon EKS and other managed container platforms where required. • Develop and maintain Terraform modules to automate provisioning of Kubernetes clusters, networking, infrastructure, and service integrations. • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools. • Establish standardized deployment patterns and reusable templates for onboarding microservices onto the platform. • Partner with application development and DevOps teams to deploy and manage microservice workloads using Kubernetes best practices. • Implement observability frameworks covering monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and performance monitoring for distributed microservices. • Optimize platform performance, scalability, availability, and cloud costs through right-sizing and automated infrastructure lifecycle management. • Design and implement secure container platforms, including image security, secrets management, runtime access controls, and policy enforcement. • Support container networking, service discovery, and service mesh implementations where required. • Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes, EKS, infrastructure, deployment, and application platform issues and drive root-cause resolution. • Implement automated deployment, rollback, and release management processes through GitOps practices. • Contribute to platform standards, technical documentation, reusable Terraform modules, deployment templates, and operational runbooks. • Support event-driven and serverless integrations for microservice-based applications where required. • Collaborate with engineering, security, application, and DevOps teams to continuously improve platform reliability and operational efficiency. • Support multi-region and multi-cloud container architecture initiatives as required. • Mentor team members and promote best practices in Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, DevOps, and platform engineering. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
