Job Description Requirements • Experience : 5.5 + years • Strong experience in enterprise software testing and quality assurance. • Relevant experience leading testing activities for Terminal Operating System (TOS) implementations. • Strong hands-on experience with Navis Mixed Cargo Terminal Operating System (TOS) or equivalent TOS platforms. • Strong understanding of terminal operations and business processes across vessel, yard, gate, rail, barge, and cargo operations. • Proven experience developing and executing enterprise-level test strategies and risk-based testing approaches. • Experience leading distributed QA teams and coordinating offshore testing resources. • Strong experience across functional testing, system integration testing, operational acceptance testing, regression testing, data validation, performance testing, and cutover validation. • Experience developing scenario-based test cases for RoRo, Breakbulk, containers, Project Cargo, Heavy Lift, and other terminal operations. • Strong understanding of testing processes for inventory, billing, customs, Hazmat goods, and resource management. • Experience with test automation frameworks and automation of regression and critical business scenarios. • Hands-on experience with API testing and integration validation. • Good understanding of performance testing and system validation for enterprise applications. • Experience with data validation and strong SQL skills. • Familiarity with test management and defect management tools. • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their application to testing and quality engineering. • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with a risk-based approach to decision-making. • Excellent planning, organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work effectively under aggressive delivery timelines and manage multiple testing priorities. • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities. • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities • Define and own the overall test strategy for the Navis Mixed Cargo Terminal Operating System (TOS) implementation. • Develop a risk-based testing approach with clear entry and exit criteria, governance processes, quality metrics, and reporting mechanisms. • Establish comprehensive testing plans covering functional, system integration, operational acceptance, data migration validation, performance, and cutover validation. • Design detailed scenario-based test cases covering RoRo, Breakbulk, container, Project Cargo, and Heavy Lift operations. • Develop and execute test scenarios covering vessel, barge, yard, rail, and gate operations. • Validate business-critical processes including inventory, billing, customs, Hazmat goods, and resource management. • Lead and coordinate manual testing activities across distributed QA teams and offshore testing resources. • Establish and drive the test automation strategy for regression, API, integration, smoke, and critical business scenario testing. • Prioritize testing activities based on business risk, operational criticality, and project timelines. • Monitor test execution progress, identify and resolve blockers, and ensure testing milestones are achieved within agreed timelines. • Lead defect triage, defect lifecycle management, root cause discussions, and resolution tracking. • Build test reporting dashboards and provide regular quality, defect, execution, and testing-readiness reports to project stakeholders. • Coordinate business validation and User Acceptance Testing activities with business and operational teams. • Ensure data migration and system integration validation are completed successfully before production deployment. • Establish repeatable testing assets, processes, and frameworks to support future terminal modernization initiatives. • Mentor QA team members and promote structured testing, quality engineering, and continuous improvement practices. • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, implementation partners, and project leadership to ensure high-confidence production readiness. • Drive disciplined test planning and execution to enable a smooth and low-risk production go-live. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
