As a Sales Support Assistant, you will work closely with the Market VP and leadership team to decode market trends, leverage AI for analysis, and support strategic decision-making. You will go beyond coordination and reporting to become a forward-looking business enabler, translating market signals into actionable insights and business direction. Ideal Candidate Profile • MBA from a top-tier B-school (ISB/IIM/Global equivalents) • 1 or 2 years experienced grads with commercial savviness • Strong interest in market trends, business strategy, and AI tools • Ability to think in terms of insights → implications → actions • Aspires to grow into strategy, business, or sales leadership roles Key Responsibilities • Strategic Sales Support to Leadership - Support the Market VP in business reviews, planning, and strategic initiatives - Prepare insight-driven briefs and analysis for decision-making - Act as a bridge between data, market insights, and execution • Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis - Track and decode industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior shifts - Identify leading indicators and emerging opportunities • AI-Enabled Analysis & Insight Generation - Use AI tools and analytics platforms to analyze data, identify patterns, and generate insights - Translate outputs into clear business implications • Sales Insights & Performance Support - Support tracking of pipeline health, revenue performance, and conversion trends - Identify gaps and suggest improvement actions • Presentation & Business Storytelling - Create high-quality presentations for QBRs, strategy discussions, and leadership reviews - Convert complex data into simple, compelling narratives • Supporting Business Strategy & GTM Initiatives - Assist in defining focus segments, growth opportunities, and market priorities - Support execution of go-to-market strategies • Cross-Functional Coordination - Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams - Ensure alignment between insights, strategy, and execution Key Skills & Capabilities • AI & Analytical Thinking: Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and analytics platforms • Presentation Excellence: Strong PowerPoint skills • Market Awareness & Strategic Thinking • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel • Communication & Collaboration: Strong articulation and stakeholder management What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months) • Reliable support to Market VP and leadership team • Insightful analysis influencing business decisions • High-impact presentations used in leadership forums • Ability to decode market trends and suggest direction • Improved sales performance visibility Commercial at AVEVA Our Commercial team, comprised of over 2,000 dedicated colleagues, is the backbone of our customer relationships and business growth.
