DLP Implementation Specialist **Years of Experience:** 8-10 Years **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced DLP Implementation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the implementation and administration of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies across a large enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of various DLP OEMs, including but not limited to Symantec, Forcepoint, and McAfee. The candidate will be responsible for configuring policies, monitoring alerts, and collaborating with business units to secure high-value data. **Responsibilities** - Implement and administer DLP tools, including configuration of policies, upgrades, and patching. - Monitor and respond to alerts generated from DLP systems and other related technologies. - Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations. - Collaborate with business groups to identify, classify, and secure high-value data. - Implement proactive measures to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of DLP tools. - Maintain various metrics and SLAs related to DLP performance and incident response. - Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on DLP best practices. - Prepare and deliver presentations on DLP initiatives and performance metrics. **Mandatory Skills** - Extensive hands-on experience with DLP technologies, specifically with DLP OEMs such as Symantec, Forcepoint, and McAfee. - Strong understanding of DLP concepts and incident response processes. - Experience in cloud architecture and its implications for data security. - Proven ability to maintain metrics and SLAs, including examples such as incident response times, false positive rates, and policy compliance rates. - Excellent presentation and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities. **Preferred Skills** - Experience with Microsoft Purview and its integration with DLP solutions. - Knowledge of organizational network architectures, including on-premises and cloud environments. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to data protection. - Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in DLP technologies or information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent). - 8-10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on DLP implementation and management.
