Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer (7+ Years Experience)Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with over 7 years of hands-on expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into meaningful insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI • Build efficient data models using DAX and optimize performance • Develop and manage ETL processes using Power Query • Connect to various data sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, Excel, etc.) • Optimize report performance, data refresh, and query execution • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions • Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices • Create reusable datasets and semantic models • Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues • Mentor junior developers and enforce BI standards Required Skills & Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics • Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI • Advanced knowledge of DAX (CALCULATE, time intelligence, optimization) • Hands-on experience with Power Query (M language) • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases • Solid understanding of data modeling (star schema, normalization vs denormalization) • Experience with performance tuning and large datasets • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
