Technical Manager - Admixture

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Lead technical support activities for the Admixture business across the assigned region. - Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance to customers, consultants, contractors, RMC plants, precast manufacturers, and infrastructure projects. - Recommend appropriate concrete admixture solutions based on project specifications, concrete mix design, environmental conditions, and customer requirements. - Conduct laboratory evaluations, concrete mix design trials, field demonstrations, and product performance testing. - Supervise on-site concrete trials and monitor product performance to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards. - Collaborate with the Sales team to support specification generation, customer presentations, technical discussions, and business development activities. - Visit Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plants, batching plants, construction sites, and customer facilities to provide technical guidance and resolve application-related issues. - Investigate product performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. - Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers, contractors, consultants, dealers, and internal sales teams. - Coordinate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams for new product introductions, product improvements, and technical problem resolution. - Prepare technical reports, site visit reports, trial reports, product performance evaluations, and technical documentation. - Ensure compliance with IS codes, ASTM standards, project specifications, and company quality and safety policies. - Monitor industry trends, competitor products, emerging technologies, and best practices in concrete and construction chemicals. - Support major infrastructure and institutional projects by providing technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle. - Build long-term technical relationships with consultants, civil engineers, project management consultants (PMCs), architects, and key customers. - Maintain accurate records of technical activities, customer interactions, and project status through MIS/CRM systems.
