Job Title: Automation Engineer **Years of Experience:** 3 - 5 **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with a strong background in Playwright, Python, and Azure. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing and development, with a proven track record of implementing automated solutions that enhance software quality and efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation processes. **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Implement and manage automated testing frameworks in Azure DevOps. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. - Continuously improve automation processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Document test cases, test plans, and automation processes for future reference. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing. **Mandatory Skills:** - Proficiency in Playwright for web automation. - Strong programming skills in Python. - Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud-based testing environments. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug automation scripts effectively. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools. - Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in automation testing and development. - Proven experience with Playwright is a deal-breaker for this position. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
