Job Title: Automation Engineer Years of Experience: 3 - 5 Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with a strong background in Playwright, Python, and Azure. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing and development, with a proven track record of implementing automated solutions that enhance software quality and efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation processes. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Implement and manage automated testing frameworks in Azure DevOps. • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. • Continuously improve automation processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency. • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. • Document test cases, test plans, and automation processes for future reference. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing. Mandatory Skills: • Proficiency in Playwright for web automation. • Strong programming skills in Python. • Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud-based testing environments. • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. • Ability to troubleshoot and debug automation scripts effectively. Preferred Skills: • Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools. • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in automation testing and development. • Proven experience with Playwright is a deal-breaker for this position. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
