**Role:** Transformation Lead **Location:** Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra **Reporting to:** Transformation Manager **Team name:** Transformation **About the Team and the Role** The Transformation team at Ather is responsible for building a robust digital infrastructure and foundation of digital manufacturing systems and tools for the greenfield factory, aligning them closely with business processes and organizational KPIs, while continuously identifying and delivering shopfloor digitalization opportunities to drive efficiency. This role is for a business partner and technology evangelist who will champion digital transformation across manufacturing functions, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, build business cases, and drive seamless adoption of digital manufacturing solutions. **Responsibilities** - Partner with Digital & Manufacturing stakeholders across Vehicle Assembly Line, Quality, Warehousing, Logistics, and SCM to gather requirements and solve business problems through digital solutions. - Prepare comprehensive business cases justifying digitization needs and prioritize stakeholder requirements. - Champion stakeholder requirements with the Information Systems (IS) team to ensure accurate understanding and implementation. - Act as a technology evangelist across the organization to identify tech-driven efficiency opportunities and drive adoption. - Develop a thorough understanding of stakeholder tools and collaborate across both IS and business swimlanes. - Partner with IS Delivery Owners to prioritize technology implementation based on cost-benefit analysis and timeliness. - Assist stakeholders in articulating process pain points, translating them into system PRDs, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria. - Lead early User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on behalf of stakeholders and ensure post-implementation adoption through training and handholding. **Experience and Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering); MBA or equivalent from a premier B-school is desirable. - 7 to 12 years of relevant experience. **Must Have Competencies** - Hands-on setup and deployment of digital manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA) in a 2W/4W manufacturing setup, particularly greenfield facilities. - End-to-end understanding of business value chains across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warehousing. - System integration between MES and enterprise solutions like SAP, PLM, and APS. - Business process design and optimization utilizing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and VSDIA to translate problem statements into system PRDs. **Good to Have Competencies** - Enterprise resource planning using core SAP modules including PP, MM, and QM in manufacturing environments. - Implementation of Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing frameworks, and Lean/Six Sigma principles. - Quantitative analytical modeling for ROI determination and business value measurement. - Hands-on shopfloor process improvement and practical digital tool adoption in manufacturing operations. **Want to know more?** At Ather, we’ve built India’s first intelligent scooter, from scratch.
