**Role & responsibilities** **Job Title:** Manager/Senior Manager Indirect Taxation (Litigation & Investigations) **Location:** Hyderabad (Corporate Office) **Department:** Finance / Indirect Taxation **Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced Indirect Taxation professional to lead **GST investigations, anti-evasion matters, and litigation**. The role involves handling **DGGI audits, DRI investigations, and departmental notices**, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and effective representation for the organization, preferably within the Pharma sector. **Key Responsibilities** - Handle **investigations, audits, and inquiries** from - Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) - Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) - Manage **anti-evasion cases**, GST audits, search proceedings, and summons - Draft and review **replies to Show Cause Notices (SCN)** and departmental communications - Represent the company before **GST authorities, adjudication, and appellate forums** - Handle **litigation strategy**, including coordination with legal counsel and consultants - Ensure timely closure of investigations and minimize tax exposure and penalties - Review **GST compliance**, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions - Monitor **input tax credit (ITC)**, classification, valuation, and tax positions - Support internal teams during **departmental audits and assessments** - Provide advisory on **GST implications for business transactions**, especially in Pharma operations - Keep track of **regulatory changes, circulars, and case laws** impacting indirect taxation - Drive **process improvements and internal controls** to mitigate tax risks **Required Qualifications** - CA / CMA / LLB/MBA (Taxation) preferred - 812 years of experience in **Indirect Taxation (GST)** - Strong exposure to **DGGI / DRI investigations and litigation** - Experience in **Pharma / Healthcare/Manufacturing industry** is highly preferred Immediate or 30 Days Notice Period is Preferable Interested Candidates please send me resumes to Pitchireddy.t@hetero.com
