AGM-Manager : Mechanical Quality (Thermal Project)

Job description

Role : AGM / Mgr. - Quality in Thermal Power Projects Experience: 15-20 Years Education: Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) Job Description: • Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system throughout the construction process, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, adherence to quality standards, and implementing best practices • Managing budgets, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver a project that meets the required quality benchmarks • Developing and implementing quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and procedures for all construction activities • Conducting inspections, audits, and tests to verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet requirements. • Implementing quality assurance programs to prevent defects and ensure continuous improvement in quality performance. • Reviewing and approving quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports • Evaluating and monitoring the quality performance of vendors and subcontractors • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of quality control and assurance professionals • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the project • Identifying and mitigating potential quality risks throughout the project lifecycle • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards. • Software solutions dedicated to managing quality control processes, including document management, inspection and testing, and non-conformance management. • In-depth understanding of thermal power plant construction processes and equipment.
