Role Title: Area Sales Manager - Solar Modules Internal Reference: Solar Champion - Solar Modules Location: Pan India (Multiple territories) Experience: Minimum 10 Months in Solar experience. Education: Graduate (Required) | Diploma/B.Tech/MBA in Sales (Preferred) Salary: As per industry standards + Performance incentives About the Organization: A leading solar manufacturing arm in India, producing high-efficiency DCR n-type TOPCon solar cells and modules as one of the country's largest solar PV module manufacturers. Key Responsibilities: • Distributor Network: Onboard, evaluate, and scale new distributors while driving monthly/quarterly targets. • Sales Driving: Generate primary and secondary solar module sales across assigned territories. • Rooftop Market: Connect with EPC contractors, C&I clients, and project developers for high-value leads. • Channel Governance: Manage sales forecasting, resolve channel conflicts, and ensure inventory planning. • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, and demand trends. • Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate with Supply Chain, Technical, Marketing, and Finance for collections and credit limits. Desired Candidate Profile: • 3+ years in channel/distribution sales in Solar, Inverters, Batteries, or Electrical products. • Strong knowledge of Solar Modules, kW Sizing, Net Metering, and Government Subsidies. • Proven history of distributor appointment and network growth. • Strong local market contacts and fluency in local languages. • Good negotiation skills and working knowledge of MS Excel.
