Assistant General Manager- Mechanical BOP/BTG

Job description

- Lead all Mechanical activities for the BOP/BTG package of thermal power project, including, Installation and Commissioning. - Develop and implement BOP/BTG mechanical Project Plans, ensuring adherence to specified deadlines and established Quality and Safety Standards. - Monitor schedules, resources, safety, and quality, and report progress to project leaders - Oversee Supply Chain, Inspection, and Testing of Mechanical BOP/BTG equipment and systems. - Ensure adherence to Statutory Regulations, Safety Standards, and environmental requirements, while maintaining accountability for achieving Zero Harm during execution & commissioning of the BOP/BTG package. - Responsible for ensuring Project Timelines are met and accountable for execution according to defined Quality Standards and Procedures - Implementing Robust Quality Control Processes to ensure all mechanical work and equipment meet project specifications and regulatory requirements. - Responsible for consistently pursuing Improvement by adopting Best Practices and conducting Benchmarking in the execution and commissioning of BOP/BTG packages. - Working closely with other project departments, such as civil, electrical, and instrumentation (C&I), to ensure seamless integration of the BOP package with the rest of the plant. - Coordinate & Collaborate with EPC contractors, consultants, and internal teams for seamless execution. - Troubleshoot and Resolve complex BOP/BTG Mechanical issues during construction, Erection and commissioning. - Responsible for ensuring Safety and Quality during various stages of project execution from engineering to planning, erection and commissioning - Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and reports - **Experience in thermal power projects with plant capacity above 600 MW** - Coordinate with consultants, EPC contractors for engineering deliverables & technical approvals.
