Assistant Team Lead

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Support the Team Leader in managing daily warehouse operations. • Supervise inbound, outbound, sorting, scanning, dispatch, and inventory activities. • Monitor team productivity and ensure daily operational targets are achieved. • Allocate manpower effectively based on operational requirements. • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies. • Maintain shipment accuracy and minimize operational errors. • Prepare daily MIS reports and operational dashboards. • Train, guide, and motivate warehouse associates. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues. • Escalate critical issues to the Team Leader whenever required. • Ensure timely dispatch of shipments and smooth workflow within the warehouse.
