Management Level: Level 12 – Associate Location: Kochi Must have skills: Manual Testing Good to have skills: Agile (Scrum/Kanban) Experience: 1 -2 years of experience in Testing Educational Qualification: Graduation (Accurate educational details should capture) Job Summary As a Functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality through manual testing practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, execute test cases, and support the overall testing lifecycle. This role is ideal for junior candidates with a strong foundation in manual testing. Roles And Responsibilities • Understand and analyze project requirements and acceptance criteria. • Design, write, and execute manual test cases for applications. • Perform Functional, UI, Regression, and Smoke testing. • Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the defect life cycle. • Prepare and manage test data required for test execution. • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and raise concerns. • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Support release activities and maintain test documentation. • Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and efficiency.
