The company does not charge any fees or security deposits from job seekers during the recruitment process and advises candidates to stay alert to fraudulent job offers. **Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Assistant Manager – Design and Engineering for Highway Projects. The role involves leading and coordinating design activities for highway and associated structures, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. The Assistant Manager will review and validate engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including construction, planning, procurement, and quality to support smooth project execution. Responsibilities include managing design schedules, addressing technical queries, supporting value engineering initiatives, and participating in design reviews with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The role also requires monitoring design risks, ensuring timely resolution of design-related issues during construction, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and tools. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills, including highway geometric design, pavement design, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards. - Candidates should possess Engineering Management skills, including coordination of multidisciplinary design teams, schedule management, and stakeholder communication. - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with experience in highway or transportation projects. - Proficiency in design and modeling tools (e.g., CAD software, highway design software) and familiarity with BIM or digital engineering practices is beneficial. - Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
