Automation Test Engineer (C#)

Job description

Key Responsibilities: • Test Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automated test frameworks using C# and relevant tools like Selenium WebDriver or Playwright. • Test Script Creation and Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications (web, API, desktop) using C# and testing frameworks like NUnit or MSTest. • Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with development teams, QA leads, and product owners to understand requirements, define test strategies, and contribute to test planning. • Integration with CI/CD: Integrate automated test suites into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams for resolution. • Performance and Cross-Browser Testing: Support performance testing and ensure cross-browser compatibility of applications through automated tests. • Code Reviews and Best Practices: Conduct code reviews of test automation scripts, ensure adherence to automation best practices, and maintain version control using Git. • Mentorship and Process Improvement: Mentor junior QA engineers and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes. • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain test reports, logs, and dashboards to track automation coverage, results, and provide insights into software quality. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Work Experience of Minimum 4 years(3 Years of Automation Testing). • Experience in automation testing using C# Selenium(Mandatory). • Experience on API testing is also required. • Proficiency in .NET technology platforms. • Cross browser testing. • Proficient creating scripts using reusable methods. • Strong testing and debugging abilities. • Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills. • Experience with Web Browser Technologies. • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design and debugging skills. • CI/CD tools. • Azure DevOps. • Must be self-motivated and take initiative in performing tasks and acquire knowledge on demanding skills. • Understanding and some experience of SQL & JMETER Performance / Load Testing.
