**Key Responsibilities** **Operational Management** - Lead infrastructure operations for cloud-hosted environments (private and public). - Manage Linux (RHEL), Windows Server, and AIX platforms in virtualized and containerized deployments. - Oversee virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and container orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes). - Administer and optimize MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle databases, including backup, replication, and recovery strategies. - Maintain enterprise backup systems and log management platforms. - Implement and manage PAM (Privileged Access Management) solutions for infrastructure security. **Security, Compliance & Governance** - Ensure timely patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration hardening. - Maintain compliance with internal IT policies, regulatory requirements, and ITIL-based processes. - Establish SOPs and ensure adherence to SOP and governance around it. **Team Management** Lead and mentor in house and partner teams comprising of infrastructure operations engineers and DBAs. - Coordinate with managed service providers, OEMs, and cloud partners for escalations and projects. - Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures. **Projects & Continuous Improvement** - Lead cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and DR/BCP projects. - Drive automation in monitoring, patching, deployment, and reporting processes. - Evaluate emerging cloud and platform technologies to improve resilience and efficiency. **Technical Competencies** - **OS:** Linux (RHEL), Windows Server, IBM AIX. - **Virtualization:** VMware, Hyper-V. - **Containers:** OpenShift, Kubernetes. - **Databases:** MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle. - **Backup:** Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup - **Security:** PAM implementation, log management (Syslog, ELK) - **Cloud Platforms:** Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or equivalent public cloud services.
