Description Monitoring the network, identifying areas that fail to meet KPI’s established by the business. Utilizing existing methods for resolving network performance issues in order to improve the overall network’s performance and associated metrics. Implementing methodologies for monitoring and troubleshooting the network to more efficiently capture performance concerns before becoming issues for our customers. Partnering with internal teams to deploy solutions into the network. Performing tests on the network’s performance to verify the successful deployment of network solutions. Assisting with maintaining system applications using traffic and capacity monitoring tools to track errors and keep the network performing optimally. Monitoring building automated systems to maintain operation of network equipment. Maintaining a secure operating environment to ensure vendor safety and network integrity. Updating daily logs with site-specific information to track and maintain network changes. Composing reports for system documentation to maintain environmental compliance and safety standards. Creating and maintaining robust network architectures on AWS, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables, and peering connections to optimize network traffic flow. Provisioning and configuring network components within AWS, such as Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, VPN gateways, and network appliances, to facilitate connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments. Knowledge of call flow for a voice and/or data session describing network elements from cell to Internet. Knowledge of wireless cell site base station, router and antenna equipment. Experience in the use of circuit and RAN test equipment and network monitoring applications. Experience in configuring CISCO 8500 Series Routers and A10 TH5845 series CGN’s. Design, Implement the strategies to Optimize the network performance between the datacenters. Deep understanding of network fundamentals including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, load balancing, and network security concepts. Implementing network security measures like access control lists (ACLs), network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT infrastructure aligns with the needs of software deployments and updates.
