Area(s) of responsibility Skills: Azure Cloud Engineer + Terraform Experience: 6-10 Yrs Years Role Type: Azure Infrastructure Automation & Platform Engineering Primary Skills: Azure, Unix, Terraform, CI/CD (Azure DevOps / Git) Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Azure +Terraform Engineer with deep expertise in infrastructure automation and cloud platform engineering. This role focuses on managing Azure infrastructure exclusively through Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, with no manual resource creation permitted. Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring zero manual intervention. • Manage Azure resources including: • Virtual Machines (Windows & Linux) • Resource Groups • Azure Networking • Azure Firewall • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD Windows 10/11) • Unix • Host pool creation, deletion, and lifecycle management • Implement and manage Azure Application Gateway (added advantage). • Handle SSL certificate renewal for Azure Application Gateway using Terraform. • Work closely with Application, Database, and Infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deploy infrastructure using Terraform code. • Build, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment. • Use Azure DevOps for Terraform pipeline execution; familiarity with GitLab is an added advantage. • Ensure infrastructure is version‑controlled, auditable, and compliant using Git + Terraform. • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure and Terraform‑related issues. • Interact with customers and Microsoft support for Azure‑related incidents and escalations. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure. • Deep understanding of Azure architecture and services. • Proven experience managing infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines. • Solid knowledge of Git‑based workflows for infrastructure management. • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. • Excellent communication skills to work with customers, Microsoft, and internal teams. • Ability to work collaboratively across APP / DB / Infra teams.
