Roles & Responsibilities Barista • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and food products as per Third Wave Coffee recipes and standards. • Deliver a friendly, warm, and memorable experience to every customer. • Take customer orders accurately and manage POS billing and cash transactions responsibly. • Ensure product quality, consistency, presentation, and timely service. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the caf, bar area, equipment, and workstations. • Follow all standard operating procedures related to food safety, beverage preparation, grooming, and caf operations. • Assist with opening and closing activities, including setup, cleaning, and stock checks. • Monitor stock levels, support timely replenishment, and help control product wastage. • Handle customer queries, requests, and feedback professionally and escalate concerns when required. • Work collaboratively with the Shift Manager and caf team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. • Support upselling and suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience and contribute to caf sales. • Participate in training programs and continuously develop knowledge of coffee, products, and service standards. • Ensure proper care and handling of caf equipment and report any maintenance or operational issues promptly. • Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional attitude while representing the Third Wave Coffee brand.
