Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse team About the role: As a Business Analyst in the Donor Information System (DIS) space within the Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, you will independently serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, determine requirements, translate business needs into effective technical solutions, maintaining continuous dialogue with all teams to ensure robustness, accuracy and consistency. By gathering requirements and facilitating cross-team communication between business and IT teams, this role directly contributes to PDT’s ability to harness data effectively, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and ultimately, competitive advantage in the market. You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help Takeda drive innovation, adapt to new opportunities, and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business/technological landscape. This position will align to Functional Analysis chapter of the ICC and initially report to the Functional Delivery Lead for strategic direction as well as day-to-day management until the role of BA Lead is filled within Takeda ICC, post which the reporting and managerial responsibilities will be transitioned accordingly. How you will contribute: • Contribute to the execution team by proactively clarifying requirements, identifying gaps, and escalating risks. • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Senior Business Analysts and product stakeholders to ensure functional expectations are understood and delivered. • Act as a reliable communication link between developers, testers, Quality, and business SMEs. • Lead requirement‑gathering discussions for low–to–moderately complex features, including understanding user needs, non‑functional requirements, and pain points. • Analyze requirements and document them into clear, structured artifacts such as Epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows. • Create and maintain needed documentation as BRD/FRD, Process flows/ workflow diagrams, Data mapping, interface specifications, integration requirements (APIs, middleware, data mapping) • Perform functional acceptance of completed user stories and validate that the testcases and overall testing coverage meet the quality standards. Support refinement sessions by validating technical feasibility with development teams. • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and story grooming sessions • Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality/user requirements. • Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessments for new enhancements. • Support and contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, including test case development, test execution, issue resolution, and assist in triaging functional defects. • Liaise with different stakeholders including the client/business owner, project manager, solution architect, developers, testers and validators to ensure timely delivery of items and alignment on system changes • Understand the business justification for the product, client’s vision, and future scope. • Create functional design documents and other documentation required as part of GxP documentation process and work closely with the Quality and Validation teams ensuring timely approvals are obtained. • Ensure documentation remains audit‑ready, consistent, and aligned with development and Quality expectations. • Maintain Confluence spaces with updated feature details, design notes, and process artifacts. • Support test case preparation through creation of test scenarios and acceptance tests that align with documented requirements. • Assist with UAT planning and coordinate with business users to validate feature readiness. • Perform initial root‑cause assessment for functional issues by reviewing logs, data, and workflows. • Work closely with developers and architects to define technical solutions and clarify requirements • Use SQL queries to validate data behavior, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and verify system outp
