The Business System Analyst will analyze and improve business processes, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and work closely with cross-functional teams. Strong Jira and Confluence skills, along with excellent communication and analytical abilities, are essential for this role. What You Will Do: • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and user needs in the travel space. Lead requirement-gathering sessions and document detailed business requirements. • User Story Writing: Write clear, detailed user stories that align with business goals and are easy for both technical and non-technical colleagues to understand. Partner with product owners, developers, and QA teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria. • System Analysis: Review existing systems, processes, and data flows in the travel space to find opportunities for improvement. Propose and help implement solutions that improve efficiency and meet business goals. • Jira & Confluence Management: Use Jira and Confluence to manage project workflows, document user stories, and support team collaboration. Keep Confluence documentation current with the latest requirements and project status. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with development, QA, and other teams to ensure solutions are implemented successfully. Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. • Quality Assurance Support: Help create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on documented requirements. Work with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of solutions. • Continuous Improvement: Look for opportunities to improve processes and recommend solutions that boost efficiency. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in the travel space. What We Are Looking For: • Bachelors degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. • Travel domain experience — Mandatory. • Experience working with GDS Systems — Mandatory. • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the travel space. • Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria. • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
