HDFC Life is supported by a strong base of Financial Consultants and a commitment to long-term customer relationships and growth. **Role Description** The Channel Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dibrugrah. Responsibilities include developing and executing channel sales strategies, identifying and onboarding new channel partners, and strengthening relationships with existing partners to drive business growth. The role involves business planning with channel stakeholders, setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and implementing initiatives to improve productivity and profitability. The Channel Development Manager collaborates with internal sales and marketing teams, conducts regular reviews with partners, ensures compliance with company policies, and supports local promotional activities and training for partner teams. The position also requires maintaining accurate records, preparing periodic reports, and continuously exploring new opportunities to expand HDFC Life’s reach in the region. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess skills in Business Planning and Sales to develop strategies, set targets, and drive revenue growth. - Candidates should possess skills in Channel Sales and working with Channel Partners to build, manage, and optimize distribution networks. - Candidates should possess skills in Account Management to maintain relationships, oversee partner performance, and ensure high service standards. - Relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or FMCG sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets, is beneficial. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, are preferred. - A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is desirable; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage. - Comfort with data analysis, reporting, and basic digital tools (CRM systems, MS Office) will be considered an asset.
